The Knowledge Proposition    [Date Added : 01/19/2005 ]
At the sixth CKO Summit, organized by TFPL and sponsored by Factiva, twenty of the world's most experienced knowledge executives addressed the following proposition: significant additional stakeholder value and competitive advantage will be derived if the expertise, information and ideas of employees, partners and customers are continually developed in all business and decision-making processes in order to demonstrate the value of knowledge to economic success.

A major outcome of the Summit was the development of a Knowledge Framework which helps companies map the impact of conscious management in terms of the three elements of knowledge - expertise, information and ideas - against the tools of intervention - people, processes and tools.
