Teleos Names Asia's Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises    [Date Added : 11/03/2015 ]
Teleos, in association with The KNOW Network, has announced the 25 Winners of the 2015 Asian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) study. The Singapore Armed Forces has been recognized as the Overall Asian MAKE Winner for the third time.

A panel of Asian-based Fortune 500 senior executives and internationally recognized knowledge management / intellectual capital experts selected the Winners. The panel rated organizations against the MAKE framework of eight key knowledge performance dimensions - visible drivers of competitive advantage and intellectual capital growth:

- Creating an enterprise knowledge-driven culture
- Developing knowledge workers through senior management leadership
- Innovation
- Maximizing enterprise intellectual capital
- Creating an enterprise collaborative knowledge sharing environment
- Creating a learning organization
- Delivering value based on customer/stakeholder knowledge
- Transforming enterprise knowledge into shareholder/stakeholder value

This year 56 Asian-headquartered organizations received nominations, and from this group 35 enterprises were recognized as 2015 Asian MAKE Finalists.

The 2015 Asian MAKE Conference and Awards Ceremony, organized by the Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Centre (KMIRC) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, will be held in Hong Kong in January 2016.

2015 Asian MAKE Hall of Fame

Over the past 14 years, only 74 organizations have been recognized as Asian MAKE Winners. Samsung SDS is the only organization which have been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner every year since the Asian MAKE research study began in 2002.

An even more select group of organizations form the 2015 Asian MAKE Hall of Fame. These 13 organizations have been Asian MAKE Finalists in each of the past five annual studies: Arup Hong Kong, eClerx Services, Infosys Limited, Korea Water Resources Corporation, POSCO, Samsung SDS, Singapore Armed Forces, Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Steel, Toyota, United Tractors, Wipro Limited and Woods Bagot.

2015 Asian MAKE Winners

The 2015 Asian MAKE Winners (in alphabetical order) are:

Architectural Services Department (Government of Hong Kong) (Hong Kong SAR, China)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized the Architectural Services Department for creating a knowledge-driven enterprise culture, and developing knowledge leaders and workers. This is the first time that the Architectural Services Department has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Arup Hong Kong (Hong Kong SAR, China)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Arup Hong Kong for enterprise-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing. This is the fifth time Arup Hong Kong has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

CLP Power Hong Kong (Hong Kong SAR, China)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized CLP Power Hong Kong for developing knowledge leaders and workers (first place). This is the first time that the CLP Power Hong Kong has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

COFCO Corporation Nutrition and Health Research Institute (China)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized COFCO Corporation Nutrition and Health Research Institute for maximizing its enterprise intellectual capital. This is the first time that the COFCO Corporation Nutrition and Health Research Institute has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Dr. Reddy's Laboratories for managing customer/stakeholder knowledge. This is the first time that the Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

eClerx Services (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized eClerx Services for managing customer/stakeholder knowledge (first place). This is the third time that eClerx Services has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

EY, Hong Kong (Hong Kong SAR, China)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized EY, Hong Kong for managing customer/stakeholder knowledge. This is the first time that the EY, Hong Kong has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP (China)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP for enterprise-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing. This is the first time that the Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Far East Holding Group Co. (China)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Far East Holding Group Co. for creating a learning organization. This is the first time that the Far East Holding Group Co. has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

HCL Technologies (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized HCL Technologies for managing customer/stakeholder knowledge. This is the first time that the HCL Technologies has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Infosys Limited (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Infosys Limited for maximizing its enterprise intellectual capital, and transforming corporate knowledge into shareholder/stakeholder value. Infosys Limited is a 13-time Asian MAKE Winner.

Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel Company (Iran)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel Company for enterprise-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing (first place). This is the first time that the Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel Company has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Korea Water Resources Corporation (S. Korea)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) for transforming corporate knowledge into shareholder/stakeholder value. This is the eight consecutive year that K-water has been an Asian MAKE Winner.

Pertamina (Indonesia)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Pertamina for enterprise-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing. This is the third consecutive year that Pertamina has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Samsung Electronics (South Korea)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Samsung Electronics for managing customer/stakeholder knowledge, and transforming enterprise knowledge into stakeholder value. Samsung Electronics is a five-time Asian MAKE Winner.

Samsung SDS (South Korea)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel recognized Samsung SDS for transforming enterprise knowledge into stakeholder value. Samsung SDS is a 14-times Asian MAKE Winner (including 2007, 2009 and 2012 Overall Asian MAKE Winner).

Singapore Armed Forces (Singapore)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized the Singapore Armed Forces for enterprise-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing, creating a learning organization, and transforming enterprise knowledge into stakeholder value. This is the sixth consecutive year that the Singapore Armed Forces has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner (including 2010, 2014 and 2015 Overall Asian MAKE Winner).

Tata Consultancy Services (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Tata Consultancy Services for developing knowledge leaders and workers. Tata Consultancy Services is an 11-time Asian MAKE Winner.

Tech Mahindra (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized the Tech Mahindra for creating a learning organization. This is the first time that the Tech Mahindra has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

TELKOM Indonesia (Government of Indonesia) (Indonesia)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized TELKOM Indonesia for maximizing its enterprise intellectual capital. This is the second consecutive year that TELKOM Indonesia has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Titan Company (JV Tata Group and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation) (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized The Titan Company for innovation and new product development (first place), and transforming enterprise knowledge into stakeholder value (first place). This is the second consecutive year that The Titan Company has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Toyota Motor Corporation (Japan)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Toyota Motor Corporation for maximizing its enterprise intellectual capital. Toyota is a 13-time Asian MAKE Winner (including 2002-2006 and 2013 Overall Asian MAKE Winner).

United Tractors (Indonesia)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel recognized United Tractors for enterprise-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing. This is the sixth consecutive year that United Tractors has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Wipro Limited (India)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel recognized Wipro Limited for creating a knowledge-driven enterprise culture (first place). Wipro Limited is the 13th consecutive year Wipro Limited has been recognized as an Asian MAKE Winner.

Woods Bagot (Australia)

The 2015 Asian MAKE panel has recognized Woods Bagot for maximizing its enterprise intellectual capital (first place), and enterprise-wide collaboration and knowledge sharing (first place). Woods Bagot is a seven-time Asian MAKE Winner.
